The short version

• This website does not use cookies. Not one.
• We do not track you, and there is no advertising or analytics code on any page.
• We collect the enquiry details you send and the technical information explained below.
• We use them to answer your enquiry. Nothing else, unless you tick the marketing box.
• We never sell your details, and we never share them for anyone else's advertising.

What we collect, if you send an enquiry

If you do not send the form, we do not create an enquiry record. The hosting server still keeps ordinary access logs, as explained below.

Saved along with it

• The page you were on when you sent the form. So we know which part of the site brings enquiries.
• The referring page supplied by your browser, if any. Helps us check where a form submission originated.
• An enquiry reference and follow-up status. So retries are not saved twice and our team can follow up.
• The date and time. So we can answer in order.
• Which version of this notice you agreed to. So we know what you were told.
• Whether you ticked the marketing box. So we only send messages to people who asked for them.

What we do not collect

• No cookies, and nothing saved in your browser.
• No record of which pages you looked at.
• No advertising identifiers and no profiling.
• We do not store your internet address with your enquiry. To limit repeated submissions, our server keeps a one-way code made from it. Submission timestamps stop counting after one hour. Expired rate-limit files are cleaned during later form requests, so they can remain longer when there is no traffic.
• Never any payment details, identity documents, or anything about your health.

Two honest qualifications, because a privacy notice that overstates its own protection is not much use to you.

• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting writes ordinary server logs for security and fault finding, and those do record internet addresses. We do not read them for marketing and we build no profile from them, but they exist and they are not ours to switch off.
• The one-way code. It is a code, not an encryption of your address, and we cannot look at it and read an address back. We do not claim it is impossible for anyone to link it to you, because the pool of possible addresses is small enough that a determined attacker with our server could work through it. It is there to count submissions within a one-hour window. Expired files are cleaned during later form requests.

Who else can see your enquiry

Only these, and only because they run the tools we use.

• Google. Your enquiry is saved in a Google Sheet in our account and emailed to us through Gmail.
• Hostinger. They host this website, so the form passes through their server on its way to us.

Google stores information on computers in several countries, so your enquiry may be held outside India. We use these tools because they are what a small business can run safely, not because we needed to move your data anywhere.

Nobody else gets your details. We do not sell them and we do not pass them to advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to three years after we last spoke to you, then we delete them. Buyers in this trade come back after long gaps, and it helps to remember what you ordered last time.

If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will.

Your consent, and taking it back

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we have to ask before we use your details, tell you plainly what for, and let you change your mind later. That is what the two tick boxes on the enquiry form are for. They are separate on purpose.

• The first box is needed. It lets us use your name, your phone number and your message to answer your enquiry. If you do not tick it we cannot reply, so we do not take the enquiry at all.
• The second box is optional. It lets us contact you later about new stock. You can send an enquiry without ticking it, and the reply you get is exactly the same either way.

To take back either one, email mgcorporation23@gmail.com or tell us on WhatsApp. Writing "stop contacting me" is enough. We will act on it and tell you when it is done.

Taking back the second one does not affect an enquiry or an order already under way. Taking back the first one means we stop using your details and remove your enquiry, so we will not be able to carry on that conversation.

What you can ask us to do

Any of these, at any time, free of charge.

• Show me what you have. We will send you everything we hold about you.
• Fix it. If something is wrong, we will correct it.
• Delete it. We will remove your enquiry from our records.
• Stop the marketing messages. If you ticked that box and changed your mind, tell us and it stops. This does not affect us replying to an enquiry.

If you are not happy with us

Please tell us first, using the email above, and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which handles complaints under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

Children

This is a website for businesses buying garment accessories. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them. If you believe a child has sent us details, tell us and we will delete them.
