About MG Corporation

We have traded in garment accessories from Chennai since 1969. Over that time the garments changed, the buyers changed and the machines changed. What did not change is that a shirt still needs the right button, and somebody has to get it to the factory on time.

What we do

MG Corporation is a trader and wholesaler of garment accessories. We stock and supply 33 items across 7 categories: buttons, plastic packing accessories, metal accessories, zippers, tapes, elastics, wadding.

Buyers come to us because those categories sit in one place. Instead of running one supplier for buttons, another for zippers and a third for packing material, you send one list to one person.

How we work

We ask about the garment first
The right accessory depends on the fabric, the finish and who the garment is for. Telling us that up front saves both of us a week of samples going back and forth.
We keep the same buyers for a long time
Many of the businesses we supply have been buying from us for years. Long relationships are what we work for, and they are the honest measure of whether we are getting it right.
We keep the same suppliers for a long time
Consistency in what you receive depends on consistency in where it comes from. Long supplier relationships are how a repeat order looks like the first one.

Param and Praveen answer the phone. There is no account manager between you and the people who know what is in stock.
